DIY Beard Balm

Did you know it is easy and affordable to make your own DIY Beard Balm using natural ingredients like beeswax, essential oils and sunflower oil? Beard balms are great for softening facial hair, soothing skin irritation and promoting healthy hair growth so whether you are looking to make some beard balm for yourself or a gift for someone else, you are in the right place to learn how.


For this recipe you will need:

10 drops BO Be Gone Essential Oil Blend(Rosemary, Cedarwood or Sage would also work well)


To make:

Melt your Coconut Oil, Emulsifying Wax, Cetyl Alcohol, Beeswax and Sunflower Oil down in a double boiler.

Once melted remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before adding in your essential oils. Stir well to combine.

Allow to cool completely before use. This recipe has a one year shelf life and should be stored in an airtight container.


To use:

Apply a small amount of balm to fingertips and apply to facial hair 1 to 2 times a week. This recipe has a shelf life of 1 year if stored in an airtight container in a cool dry location.
